As a tea drinker, have you ever considered the true cost of your brewing method? Try giving loose leaf tea a chance to reduce waste.

Tea Brewing Instructions: Heat water to 200 degrees. Use approximately 3 grams (2 teaspoons) of tea leaves for 6 oz. of water. Steep Tea for 4 minutes.

To re-steep, add 1-2 minutes to the original steeping time. For each additional steep, continue to add 1-2 additional minutes until the flavor is exhausted.

Why choose loose leaf tea over tea bags?
Whole leaf or loose leaf tea provides the cup with more flavor, health benefits and aroma than commercial tea bags, which are often made up of tiny leaf bits and tea dust which has lost most of its flavor and antioxidants.

Often times, the paper tea bags collapse onto the tea preventing water from infusing every inch of the leaf-flavor is usually extracted after only one steep whereas loose leaf tea can be steeped multiple times for several cups of tea.

Advantages

I love this loose tea! However, I do not drink it, although, I just might this winter. I steep it in hot water and use it as a post shampoo rinse instead of conditioner. I gently work it through and follow with a quick rinse of water, leaving some behind. The smell is delightful, my hair feels smooth. I do squeeze some organic lemon into it, after i remove the strainer to help balance the pH.

Disadvantages

None.

This tea is great! I love the combo of Chamomile and Mint. It also has full strength because it is loose leaf
